Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City South Ameer Nurul Islam Bulbul and Secretary Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud have expressed their deep shock at the death of Khandaker Ataur Rahman Naeem and Sultan Mohammad Ghaznabi. Ghaznabi was 73.
Naeem, who was a shura member and ward president of Kalabagan thana unit, died on Saturday for the COVID 19 while Ghaznabi, who was the senior member (Rukon) of ward 22 of the Hazaribagh thana, died on Sunday morning for old-age complication in the city.
Late Neem, who hailed from Comilla district, left behind wife, two daughters, and host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
On the other hand, late Ghaznabi left behind wife, three sons, two daughters, and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
Both the leaders prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed profound sympathy to the bereaved family members.
They also remembered his massive role in preaching Islam in society.
Bulbul and Dr. Masud also urged the family members to be patient and Allah-fearing in this regard.
