Terming Bangladesh now in a dire straits, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said all human rights have been taken away and injustice has been imposed on people in the name of justice and rule of law.
People have no democratic rights and the right to freedom of expression. People have no right to live with dignity. In a word, the nation has now become a proletarian nation, he said.
The October 28 incident was concocted and preplanned to create this existing stalemate in the country, he said, adding that the government will not be able to grab the state power forever, so it should decide itself to have safe exit to get rid of its ultimate and fatal calamities and fall.
Our martyred brothers who sacrificed their lives on October 28, 2006, did not compromise with any injustice, and oppression, the central ameer stated.
Jamaat will not bow down to any injustice and misrule, says.
He called upon every one to move the nation forward in an united manner to defeat the evil forces.

He said “We want to make it clear that as our brothers did not compromise with injustice and misrule, Jamaat-e-Islami will not bow down to any oppression and tyranny”.
Failing to kill the leaders that day, they have taken resort to a crooked and complicated path. Our Leaders have been killed unlawfully and illegally by fake and false accusation through scandalous legal proceedings after coming to power through different rigged elections, he noted.
“If we do not get justice in this world, then there is a place where martyrs will be plaintiffs, and murderers will be defendants and millions will be witnesses”, Dr Shafiq said.
The martyrs will win in that trial in the long run and the murderers will die on that day, he added.
In 2006, at the last end of the 4-party alliance government’s tenure, Awami League-led 14-party alliance created mayhem and anarchy by carrying out brutal attacks and vandalism nationwide. Jamaat-e-Islami organized a rally on the same day in the North gate premise of Baitul Mukarram. Stage construction had begun since the morning. But all of a sudden, the thugs and hooligans of 14 party alliance started attacking the Jamaat activists and the general masses with sticks, hockey sticks, rods, pistols, and locally made lethal weapons. As the central leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami started addressing the gathering, the Awami goons opened fires and marched toward the stage. The then Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Maulana Matiur Rahman Nizami was present over there as the chief guest. But the terrorists moved ahead to kill him along with other Jamaat leaders.
From morning till the evening of that day, the entire Paltan and the surrounding area had turned into a battlefield. In such attacks, 14 Jamaat and Chhatrashibir activists were martyred in Dhaka and other places of the country. Several hundred became injured. Not only in the capital Dhaka, but the 14-party alliance goons also spread that anarchy and turmoil nationwide. They killed the people and started dancing over the dead bodies. People from all around the world witnessed those brutalities through print and electronic media.
The tragic and brutal massacres of 28 October will be regarded as a stigmatized
