Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City South Secretary Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud on Tuesday said a concerted effort is a must to establish the spirit of Islam at every corner of society.
To this effect, all the Muslims should play a leading and courageous role to conquer Islam, he added.
His comment came at a post-Eid program at a city auditorium organized by Jatrabari West Thana.
The thana ameer Emdadul Huque chaired the function.
Speaking on the occasion as the chief guest, Dr. Masud said one of the significant teachings of Eid is to develop the spirit of unity among the Muslims.
The leader said every Muslim comes forward for the welfare of each other and joined the Eid festival. This great teaching of Eid-ul-Fitr is one of the tools of social change. Everyone should come forward to form the society by taking the lesson of Eid.
Dr. Shafiqul said, “We have to continue our unremitting efforts to build a prosperous Bangladesh. Our efforts will continue until we achieve our goal. No barrier and conspiracies cannot deviate us to attain the goal.”
