Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka city South Nayebe Ameer Manjurul Islam Bhuiyan said the Muslims across the world become united on the occasion holy Eid-ul-Fitr after a month-long fasting.
One of the significant teachings of Eid is to develop the spirit of unity among the Muslims, he also said.
The leader said every Muslim comes forward for the welfare of each other and joined the Eid festival. This great teaching of Eid-ul-Fitr is one of the tools of social change. Everyone should come forward to form the society by taking the lesson of Eid.
The central working committee member’s views came at an Eid reunion ceremony on Sunday at a city auditorium organized by Motijheel Thana Unit of Dhaka City South.
Manjurul spoke on the occasion as the chief guest while the thana unit ameer Kamal Hossain chaired it.
Thana secretary Mutakim Billah, thana Nayebe Ameer Syed Sirajul Haque, thana working committee members SM Shamsul Bari, Sheikh Enamul Kabir, Delwar Hossain, Jamaat leaders Noor Mohammad, Joynal Abedin, Noor Uddin, and Helal Uddin.
Manjurul Islam Bhuiyan said, “We have to continue our unremitting efforts to build a prosperous Bangladesh. Our efforts will continue until we achieve our goal. No barrier and conspiracies cannot deviate us to attain the goal.”
