Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City South staged a demonstration in the capital to protest the rising prices of daily essentials in the country.
Sabujbagh Thana of Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City South arranged the demonstration protesting the recent spiralling price hike of commodities on Wednesday.
Central Majlis Shura member and Dhaka City South working committee member Shamsur Rahman led the procession , started at the city’s Basabo area and ended with a short rally after parading different city streets.
City Shura( council) member and Sabujbagh Thana ameer Abu Mahi, city shura members Bani Yeamin, Rawsan Zaman, Riazul Islam and Jamaat leader Kamrul Islam Ripon, among others, were present at the meet.
