Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman has called upon his party members(rukons) to be inspired by the teachings of Hazrat Ibrahim(AS).
Our party men specially the members know the history of the attempt to set Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) in the blistering fire. The heat of the fire was so enormous and unbearable that none were able to stand near it. But by the command of almighty Allah , it cools down in a moment, he stated.
Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) was fully able to go through the acid test successfully which bears witness to the fact that he is a true Khalilullah ( friend of Allah), he pointed out.
Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) was once ordered in a dream to sacrifice his beloved son Hazrat Ismail (AS). But when he immediately informed Hazrat Ismail (AS) about his matter, he gladly advised his father Ibrahim (AS) to carry out the command given in the dream and in various ways encouraged him to complete the work of sacrifice, he says.
“We too dream of conquering Iman, Aqeedah and Islam with the same goal and objective. So, in the need of Islam and humanity, the members of Jamaat-e-Islami have to pass the test of supreme sacrifice at all stages of life”, he said.
The Jamaat Ameer came up with the call and remarks at a day-long training program organized by Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City South on Friday.
Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City South ameer Nurul Islam Bulbul chaired the event while its secretary Dr Shafiqul Islam Masud moderated it.
Party central acting secretary general Maulana ATM Masum, central assistant secretary general and former Member of Parliament Hamidur Rahman Azad, central assistant secretary general Abdul Halim, and executive council member Advocate Matiur Rahman Akand, among others, spoke at the program.
Central working committee member and Dhaka City South nayeb-e-ameer Manjurul Islam Bhuiyan, city assistant secretaries Advocate Helal Uddin, Muha. Delwar Hossain and other working committee members, among others, were present at the function.
Maulana ATM Masum said our party members (Rukon) have to devote themselves to the worship of Allah Almighty in the way shown by Hazrat Prophet Muhammad (Sm) and in the way followed by his companions.
“In this way we can get Allah’s mercy and only when Allah is pleased with us, then our real success will be successfully assured”, he said.
Speaking on the occasion, Nurul Islam Bulbul said, “We have to use our time in a planned manner as we have taken oath as a member(rukon) from our organization”.
As the demands of the present time, a Rukon(member) must be enriched with knowledge of information technology and further enriched his management quality, he said.
In order to increase their professional and personal skills, they have to involve themselves in all the programs that will be arranged by the organization, he added.
