Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City South ameer Nurul Islam Bulbul urged the government to stop arrests, enforced disappearances and unlawful killings of the opposition leaders including his party leaders.
All blueprints have been put in place to keep the people in suspense by filing false cases and carrying out political atrocities, he said.
Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City South chief came up with the call and remarks while delivering a virtual speech as the chief guest at a discussion and prayer program on the occasion of the 12th martyrdom anniversary of Hafizur Rahman Shahin on Saturday.
On 2010, law enforcers killed Hafizur Rahman unlawfully and brutally near the Rajshahi University area.
Shaheed Shaheen Memorial Council arranged the programme chaired by its president Advocate Md. Delwar Hossain.
Bangladesh islami chhatra shibir president Md Rashedul Islam was present on the occasion as the special guest.
The present government is unjustly continuing the stream rule of torture on the Jamaat-e-Islami leaders and workers including the common people, Bulbul said.
Even, the government does not hesitate to use the administration illegally against his the party leaders and workers, he stated.
He said no one has the right to carry out any political program in the country, he added.
