Jamaat Dhaka City South Ameer Bulbul, Secretary Dr Masud greet City People, Muslim Ummah on Eid-ul-Azha

Extending help, support to needy, poor, helpless great means of achieving satisfaction of almighty Allah amid Covid-19 crisis, they say
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City South has greeted the city people and Muslims Ummah on holy Eid-ul-Azha, one of the largest Muslims’ religious festivals.
Eid-ul-Azha is being celebrated across the country for the second year in a row amid the worsening Covid-19 crisis in the country and elsewhere in the world, Jamaat Dhaka City South ameer Nurul Islam Bulbul and secretary Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud said in a joint statement while greeting the city people on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha.
In their Eid message, the leaders said, Eid-ul-Azha inspires us with the ideal of sacrifice and the glory of self-sacrifice.
Eid-ul-Azha not only inspires us to sacrifice, but it inspires us to forget all differences, eliminate inequality between rich and poor and establish a society free from exploitation and deprivation, they insisted.
By realizing the historical teachings of sacrifice, Muslims on the one hand follow the command of Allah, on the other hand they are determined to walk more firmly in the path of Allah, they points out.
A large number of people are unemployed and deprived of income in this pandemic situation across the country. It has become almost impossible for them to meet the minimum needs of their relatives and family members and they are living a very inhuman life, they said.
To this effect, they urged all to extend their help and support to those are passing a tough and difficult time amid the Covid-19 crisis.
In the corona situation, Jamaat Dhaka City South has continued its financial and various cooperation programs including free ambulance service, free medical service, supply of free oxygen cylinders to serve the common people, they stated.
If the people benefit from this, we will think that our labor has been successful, the leaders said calling upon all those who are able to come forward for the welfare of the affected people amid this trying time, they say.
The leaders further said that despite their will and ability in the global corona situation, devout Muslims have been deprived of the opportunity to perform Hajj this year as per the rules.
In such a horrible situation, the leaders, with a gloomy heart, wished the Muslim Ummah, including the people of the capital Dhaka, a holy Eid-ul-Azha.
At the same time, the city leaders prayed to Allah wholeheartedly to get rid of the horrors and catastrophes of this pandemic.
The leaders also called upon all including city people to celebrate this Eid using health masks, hand sanitizers at all times.
