Jamaat Dhaka City South distributes winter cloths among followers of different religions including Hindu minority group
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City South secretary Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud on Saturday said Jamaat is relentlessly working for the welfare of all the people irrespective of race, religion and caste across the country.
He also urged all to play a united role in establishing a just and society free from discrimination and exploitation.
Dr Masud made the remark and call at a winter clothes distribution ceremony among to the underprivileged poor of the followers of different religions including Hindu minority group in the capital’s Jatrabari area.
Dhaka City South Jatrabari East Thana organized the program.
Jatrabari East Thana ameer Shahjahan Khan chaired the program.
Speaking at the function as the chief guest, Dr Masud said Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is the messenger of liberation of humanity and the guide of human welfare.
Keeping in view his ideal, we are moving forward with the noble goal of Islam to ensure peace and welfare in all fields by removing all the inconsistencies in the society. We want a safe country for people of all faiths to live in peace, where there will be no discrimination among the citizens of the state, he added.
