Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City South Ameer Nurul Islam Bulbul and Secretary Dr Md. Shafiqul Islam Masud have expressed their deep shock at the death of child artist Tahmid Zaman. He was 14.
Tahmid Zaman was the eldest’s son of female wing of Motijheel Thana working committee member Sumaiya Begum and Paltan Thana ward president Nurul Absar. He was a sixth-grade student and also a child artist of country’s popular cultural organization Saimum Shilpi Gosthi.
Tahmid died on Sunday afternoon at his residence in the capital after being electrocuted.
He left his parents, family members, host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
The city ameer and secretary prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed profound sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Both the leaders urged his family members to be patient and Allah-fearing in this regard.
