Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City South gave financial support to the injured victims to help receive their better treatment in the fatal train accident in Brahmanbaria district.
Earlier, on November 12, at least 16 people were killed and 73 injured as an intercity train crashed into another train in Kasba Upazila of Brahmanbaria.
Jamaat Dhaka City South assistant secretary advocate Helal Uddin handed over the money to the families of the injured victims on Wednesday.
Former Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir president Abdul Jabbar, among others, was present during a visit to the victims.
