Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City South Ameer Nurul Islam Bulbul and Secretary Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud have expressed their deep shock at the death of Md Abdullah and Kabir Ahmed. Abdullah and Kabir were 68 and 62 respectively.
Md Abdullah was a ward president of Motijheel thana while Kabir was the father of Kamruzzaman, who is a ward secretary of Khilgaon west thana.
Abdullah died at a private hospital while undergoing treatment there at 9:30 am on Sunday. He left behind, wife, daughter, son, and host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death. He was also a former banker.
Kabir died at a private hospital while undergoing treatment there on Saturday morning. He left behind, wife, a daughter, three sons and host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
Besides, the Jamaat City South chief and secretary prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed profound sympathy to the bereaved family members.
They also remembered his massive role in preaching Islam in society.
Bulbul and Dr. Masud also urged the family members to be patient and Allah-fearing in this regard.
